TINA CLEAVELIN, CJE
Tina works with advisers and staffs to produce and market their publications. She advised award-winning staffs in Arizona and Oklahoma. She received the JEA Friend of Scholastic Journalism, the Pioneer Award from NSPA, the Friends of Journalism award from the NSPA and the Jostens Leadership Award.
KEL LEMONS
Kel was a Texas journalism adviser for 12 years, with her newspaper and yearbook staffs at Connally H.S. and Rouse H.S. earning Crown and Pacemaker awards. She was selected as an ILPC Edith Fox King Award Winner in 2016.
JEFF MOFFITT, MJE
Jeff advised the award-winning Oracle newspaper and Torch yearbook at Olympia H.S. in Orlando, Florida. He was OHS’s 2007 Teacher of the Year. JEA named him a Rising Star in 2006 and a Special Recognition Adviser in 2010.
LIZABETH WALSH, MJE
Lizabeth spent 26 years advising programs in private, public and magnet schools. She was named a JEA Distinguished Yearbook Adviser in 2011 and was awarded CSPA’s Gold Key in 2012.

RICK BROOKS, CJE, CREATIVE DESIGN MANAGER
For 30+ years, Rick has worked with and designs for award-winning colleges and high schools while teaching nationally. He received the Gold Key from CSPA, the Keystone and Friend of Journalism from PSPA and the Pioneer Award from NSPA.
BRIAN MARTINEZ, CJE, TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE MANAGER
Brian began his career at the Houston Chronicle before becoming a newspaper and yearbook adviser in Texas, where his staffs won Pacemaker and Crown awards. He works with schools to help them produce their best publications using the latest and greatest tools.
MITCH EDEN, MJE, AMBASSADOR
Mitch, MJE, is a Jostens consultant helping advisers and students improve themselves and their programs. He retired in 2023 after 27 years advising, most recently at Kirkwood H.S. in Missouri, where he advised The Kirkwood Call newsmagazine/website and the Pioneer yearbook. Eden is a former Dow Jones News Fund National High School Journalism Teacher of the Year. He has received Youth Journalism International’s Journalism Educator of the Year, NSPA’s Pioneer Award, JEA’s Medal of Merit and SPJ’s Distinguished Teaching in Journalism Award.
MARCI PIEPER, ED. D, AMBASSADOR
Marci retired from Clayton High School as the adviser to the award-winning CLAMO staff. Marci has been awarded the CSPA Gold Key, NSPA Pioneer, Missouri Journalism TOY, Francis Howell North TOY and was named a Special Recognition Adviser from JEA.
MARGARET SORROWS, CJE, AMBASSADOR
Margaret retired in May 2015 after 36 years of advising award-winning yearbooks, newspapers and teaching digital photography. She was the 2014 JEA H.L. Hall Yearbook Adviser of the Year. In 2022, she received the Pioneer Award from NSPA. Her publications won Gold and Silver CSPA Crowns and NSPA Pacemakers.
